I tried flipping the bracket that holds the pulley guard and no-go

So... I've got to decide if I want to modify the bracket/guard extensively, go w/out a pulley guard and devise another means of firming the motor besides the screw that goes into the pulley guard or just run it at full speed.
I would much rather have the lower rpms but you know I got to looking at the rating on HF's tile saw blade and it's 6100 - same as your average lap blade, yet they feel comfortable selling it to people for a saw that runs at 3550rpms.
Lots to think about - meantime I'm keeping busy More on all this in a day or three when I'm not so tired and I can think straighter.
