Here are some pics of a material you don't see widely used for cabs. I mine it locally at an old Limerock mine. Hard as a mother and takes a great polish. Much of it is filled will drusy pockets and fossils.

I'm going to slab up some more of it this week and hopefully get a few more cabs made.

I don't think will ever get enough of your pendant designs.

The two in the center I would have thought to come from the same Chert.

The other two appear quite a bit different.

Does it vary in appearance quite a bit?

The look of the two Chert cabs in the middle are really something.

Can you tell by looking at the rough if it will look similar to the two center cabs, and would you consider selling a little rough or maybe a couple slabs?

Beautiful.....

George,

Actually none of them came from the same piece.  You can tell by the rough how it will look. All of the rock I get comes from an area about that is about a 1 to 1-1/2 mile radius. So far we have found, Green, Brown, Yellow, Red, Cream. Light Blue, and Clear/Lt.Blue with drusy pockets.
As for selling some you bet. I have acutally traded several boxes of this stuff for some misc. onyx, agate and japer from a guy in CA.

I will post some pictures of some rough this week and you can have your pick.

Sounds great..

I would like to call on your expertise in picking between the different pieces so as to get some material similar to the two center cabs.

Looking forward to seeing the pics  :)
