It comes pretty much ready to run; just add about 1/2 gallon of oil. You need to get it level, or maybe just slightly down hill to the rear. It will still probably leak a little oil off of the left side, because the drain channel can get blocked by rock sludge.
The clutch for the power feed will probably need to be tightened after a few cuts, so expect it to stop feeding. It just needs to be tightened a little, but don't over tighten it as that is what saves the blade on really hard rocks. It makes beautiful cuts, and I can't really fault it.
