Since I joined this site I have always been in awe of the wire rappers here. So I decided to try to do one. I think I used to heavy of a gauge of 1/2 round for the 28x20mm serpentine cab and I didn't quite get the spacing right for the two shoulder wraps. But not bad for a 1st try.  |

None of my attempts at wrapping turned out anywhere near that good! Great job!
I believe the ladies in our club use square wire, around the cab, and half round, to wrap the wire tight, but I could be very wrong.

That is why jewelry making is an art form....you can do something totally contrary to convention and produce a whole new style and technique others will reproduce.

Normally us wire wrappers use square and half round wire in the fashion that Hulagrub mentioned. But you did it contrary to this and produced a beautiful work of art! Way better then my first attempt for sure. Looks like it was done by a seasoned professional.

Steve, for your first attemp you did great, nice and tight wrap. The square and half round wire do make it easier. It's sometimes a real challenge to get the side wraps where you would like them to be. Don |

Yep... this is pretty impressive for a first... especially using the heavy gauge wire. I hope you're using dead soft! hehe...
