This is a necklace I did a while ago. It was a bit different design than I usually had done. It's turquoise & lions paw shell. There is a pair of ear rings that go with it I didn't include in the pictures. They are just round turq. with the extended diamond drops. Post type. I was trying for a little more contemporary look with this one.

This is an absolutely  fantastic necklace.  You did a great job.  Tell me more about the orange shell you used.

Love the colors and the dangling design.  Imagine the earrings are lovely, as well.

Here's a couple of pictures of the Lions Paw shell I used. One complete & the one I cut to make the necklace. I like the oranges you can get from this shell. It's about the size of my hand & they cost about 5 or 6 bucks each. I've seen them in shell shops & just gift shops. The third picture is of the usual spiney oyster  shell with the spines ground off. I think they may be related species but not really sure.
