Here's a Christmas gift order for a friend of mine.

It's a "Mother's" pendant with the children's stones at the top - center garnet for the oldest; left ruby for the 2nd; opal for the 3rd - Mom's stone is the large ruby in the center - bottom stones are the metaphysical complements for the children's stones - garnet > turquoise; ruby > emerald; opal > peridot



The total length of the pendant is 1 3/8" tall, not including the bail.  Quite small and tedious work.  Not too bad for a 1st try at something like this.  The center ruby seems a little off-set in the photo but not so much on the piece.

Wonderful piece !

Yes it was......there is 17 separate pieces of sterling in there..................  bricks

It takes a lot of skill, steady hands, patience and perserverance to do such a striking piece! Super work!

Very nice Steve....I have more and more respect for you 'artists' and your 'fine' work.  I don't think I will have enough fingers left to do much more 'fine' grinding unless I get some thimbles for my phalanges.
