Been a bit since have been on as trying to get the wife back into shape so she can start working on her jewelry again. She had to take some time off from work and her jewelry making for back surgery, that was scheduled for 1 1/2 hours and ended up being almost 5 hours. So the recovery has not been as rapid as the doctors said.
First show coming up for this Spring is the SWGMS Fiesta of Gems on the 20th and 21st. Not selling anything at this one so she can continue to rest a bit, but was asked to do an educational display. So anyway about three-quarters done and took a picture to see what you folks think. The display will be about 1/3 wider when finished than shown in the picture with geodes and fossil material showing more rough, slabbed, cut and polished and completed jewelry pieces. Hope I am on the right track for this kind of display. It will be sitting inside a locked dispaly cabinet with lights from the top and the whole front is a slanted glass cover. Hope the pic can be blown up enough to read the labeling.

Will it is very nice. Love the way you showed different ways the stone can be created like with the rubies. And I like the way you start out with rough stones and show finished product in cabochons or the lovely necklaces/pendants. You got some really nice specimen pieces:)

I really like the display...
Our local club offers members a opportunity to set up a display in one of several cases during the local fair.
This is exactly what I had in mind if I decide to give a display a go, and if they will allow me...
To show the entire process as best as possible is really cool.. I am limited on the final jewelry though !
Best to your wife and hope she is getting better quickly.. !!

thats a great looking display...... i love the steps from rough to finished. Also, showing the different rubies is nice. Tell you wife to rest up and get well soon.
