Hello everyone! Did I say "De Beers"? OOPS! Sorry, my fault! No diamonds here. It's not De Beers, It's "The Bears"! ;D I couldn't cut that beautiful pattern on the Dryhead slab, so I tried to frame it entirely. After some tries, I thought this bear is the best framing. This set is my Christmas gift for my wife. I have to hide it for a few more days. :-X The ear-rings are not Dryhead, they are some other banded agate but I think they still match. Thank you for looking, Adrian

Adrian,
Awesome design. I just think what you do is very beautiful. The way you wrap your stones is so cool because the wire is hidden and all you really see is the stone and your lapidary skill, amazing.
I have been racking my brain trying to figure out how you end the wrap. Please share....
Christopher

Adrian:
You really 'captured' the bear hiding in that piece of Dryhead! This will be a very much appreciated Christmas gift. Woody

Way too cool Adrian.. !
I am getting more and more interested in the groove and wire. I really like the look. Been eye balling your cabbing unit with the cutting disc for the grooves..
I am almost thinking I could put something together and add it to the end of one of my units.
Any way.... Love the bears !

Adrian, Those are so neat. I am going to have to try that kind of wrapping. It really focalizes the stone. My wife tries to wrap so that the stone is framed, but occasionally she has to hide an imperfection.

Very nice. The smaller bears look just like the bigger one. Great job in matching the colors!
