The Spokane Community College is having it's annual art and crafts show tomorrow.

Suppose to be a nice event.

Although it is only a one day event, it is a bargain at 60.00. They supply tables, and electricity.

Expecting to meet some fellow Etsy shop owners too.

Should be a lot of fun !

Wish me luck !

Good luck George,

I am heading to the biggest show we have ever done tomorrow. It is an actual judged Fine Art & Craft show.

Hope you sell out.

Well, all is well !

Just a couple of hours into the show and sales are a-ok !

Been doing better with the silver soldering so felt comfortable taking an order for a pendant and bracelet set.

Any way... Nice event !

Nice clean setup. I like how you have your cabs on backing in bags. Makes them easier to see & protects the cabs even if the buyer wants to take a closer look.

btw I DID notice the show was last November . . .

but then I saw this picture and, well, I don't want to seem picky but I, uh,  that is,  well I guess I should get to the point which is that you said " Semiprecious Gemstones"  and  your stones are quite precious - that is a stone that costs only $25  costs a minimum wage worker over half a day!  I hope you are not offended but see what I mean.

The distinction of diamonds, rubies, emeralds, sapphires, & pearls as the only "precious" stones went out with the 20th Century.   A great agate can be worth more than a piece of junk ruby - just look at Bob's cabs, in fact anyone on here cuts very precious stones.

Please, no insult intended ( he says as he stops ranting and steps off the soapbox)

I just sort of think of semiprecious as most of the minerals we see cabbed here on the forum.

When I think of precious, diamonds, rubies, and the like come to mind..

Certainly not offended in any way Gregor..  :)
