haha...all good. I'm happy to share. For whatever reason, cerium oxides besides "inland superior polish" didn't work for me with that synthetic pad.
Mark, i'm working on the 8" inland flat lap start to finish which i sit indian style in front of on the ground...and i wear a big straw hat and flourescent orange sunglasses =)'s been taking me 2-3 hours lately to finish a cab front and even faster since i've downsized my cabs a bit. I've never tried any other machines so i couldn't say where it rates in comparison. But if anybody's thinking of buying one i wouldn't recommend the all-in-wonder model which i purchased. The trim saw is below sub standard, and that's being kind.
...i've given a few cabs away, but have yet to sell one, mostly because i get attached when i'm carving them, and 20 bucks for 3 hours work and the price of a slab doesn't make sense for me.
Though i'm thinking about buying some precious metal clay and fooling around with that.
...but for now rocknroll is still paying the bills.

Jon, do you have a lead on where to buy more of the same synthetic leather ?
