It is not very often that I get to cab such nice Mexican lace agate.  Found a small slab of this in our clubs dollar box.  Nice and hard with beautiful banding and outstanding floating orbs in clear chalcedony.

This was some of the nicest Mexican crazy lace agate I have had the pleasure of cabbing.

2" cab with 2 mm backing.

George:

Someone just gave me about 100 pounds of old crazy lace. When I get around to taking pictures, I'll post them here. You know about my problem (I think I shared it here), that I can't stand to cut it because it's so dang pretty just the way it is... but some of them I think I can. There are some big expanses on one or two of the larger ones with no pattern at all, and they're large enough (some are more than 5 pounds) to slab without experiencing too much guilt.

I do remember your problem !  Lol..  Hopefully if the slabs turn out nice, you will be able to get over any guilt about possibly selling a slab or two !

Looking forward to the pictures..  yes
