This is the second piece of Dino bone I've taken a chance on. The first was brown with mostly calcite cells - a bust. This one I'm much more excited about. Bright orange and red with black webbing and little mini-agates in the cells. Sweet!

Yes, that is a good piece. Try to avoid anything other than fully agatized bone and you will not be disappointed!

Thanks Michael,
Is there a good way to tell if it's fully agatized in the rough state (from photos)? The other piece looked ok until I cut it open and saw all the platy calcite.

Most sellers of good Dinosaur Gem Bone post really good photos and you can see there is little "texture", cracks, pits and open cells.

Cut another couple of slabs. The color is a little more orange deeper in, but more colors are showing up in the cells. Sweet rock
