The first of two large flat rate boxes of t-eggs from Ore-rock-on showed up today. This one had some Priday moss bed and white fir springs in it.
I had time to take some slabs off the largest moss egg... Really cool stuff. Has these kelp-like tubes of moss in clear agate with a few druzy pockets suspended here and there. Should make some wild cabs.
I'll post some more as I cut 'em up.

Here are a few more. Really like the moss eggs. The white fir springs are a little hit and miss. I thought this one was nice.

Hi Craig,
The first post is about 4" wide. Top two in the second post are 3". Bottom two are about 4".
Thanks!

Yeah I got some nice slabs off of these. This one's the last off the saw and my favorite so far. I'll try to cut a KCC entry this month.

Man, you really hit the jackpot on those. So many interesting patterns. Few things more fun than cutting into something unknown and ending up with a pleasant surprise like these!

Here's the first of the Red Bed eggs I cut. I like the deep blue and pale moss.

Rough eggs on the outside Jeremy.
But the inside well and truly makes up for that.

Jeremy, You've got some beautiful eggs there! It inspires me to dig out my box of Richardson's Ranch eggs and do some more cutting. My partner and I call those moss eggs from Richardson's like you show "curtain moss", because some of it looks just like the old cotton lace curtains.

Yeah I need to stop by Richardson's one of these days too. I don't know if their beds are open yet; it's been a wet spring, but a dry two weeks. The eggs are stunning, by the way!

I was just there on 4/17. The moss bed is open. In fact they were cleaning it out with the excavator while I was there. I wasn't able to get many good eggs because they were clearing the prime digging area. I was able to get this beauty though! Red bed, and Blue bed are open too.
