My first chrysoprase cab, two-sided and set in Argentium.  Who doesn't love chrysoprase?

Love the way it catches and diffuses the light.

Great shot to capture the nature of the stone/piece, show the clasp, and include the rough and caliper to show authenticity/precision/craftsmanship.

Chysoprase has a uncomplicated clean feel about it, great to work with.

Lovely presentation.

Is it Australian or Zimbabwe (Mtorolite) I have done both, love them both
Green chalcedony is good.  I like your metal work yes, I might try a variation of your design

Jhon P, I don't know where this chrysoprase slab came from. Is there a way to tell?  I collect most of my slabs and rough from swaps in central and NE Oklahoma, often the identity of the rough or slab is not known.    That's one of the values of this forum, I am learning from everyone else's postings.  I'd love to see your variation of the design.

Asianfire, the finished thickness is 6mm in the center, thickest part.

Nice looking piece, that cab looks like it could glow in the dark. Great job!
