Last week I hauled a pick-up load of slab saws over to Tony at Idaho rock shop. He suggested we take a swing through the Owyhee Mtns. I jumped at the chance.
The weather cleared and we set out last Thurs.
We visited many of the famous digs and got a look at the heart of the jasper country.
Never a better guide and no chance of a better day. No snakes, cool temps, dry roads and lots of hounding.
Paradise!
We were the first ones of the season to many of the fabled sites.
Thank you Tony! An old mans dream came to pass. My wife is hooked, the saws are running and life is good!
