I hate working amber!  I have some of the Blue amber that my wife bought for me to cut and so far, I have one piece about 2/3s done.  Every time I think I am getting close I get the piece too hot and melt a section and I have to go back and sand out the melted area and start over. 

Love what you have done with the pieces you have.

Lower speed, and burs normally used on wood should do the trick. Will try not to do either, but if the colour gets better in other pieces, might invest in carbon bits and search for that danged foot-control. :)
