Two things I can think of; If you are not sure who licked the rock before you obtained it I can see a great use here.
#2 idea would be create another fake stone to put on the market and be certain to say it is genuine or natural....

sorry, been one of those days and it sounded funny at first....

Actually, I think they may actually grow synthetic crystals in a special autoclave.

Other than sterilizing things, I'm not sure what you can do with it. I went on Wikipedia and it said that you can vulcanize things and cure resins in one, and some of them pull a vacuum. I don't think the steam would aid in stabilizing stones, however. But you might could figure out some way to pull a vacuum and heat, which might be useful.

I bought some dental equipment a while back and a centrifuge was in the lot. Anybody need to separate a little plasma out of your blood? I really need to find somewhere to sell it, along with all the cad-blanks for crowns.

Steamy warm towels for the shop to clean up with. And they might feel really good in the cold months.

Debbie, you can use that centrifuge to separate oil and sludge.  Five minutes in a centrifuge equals five months just sitting.

Nah, it's only good for little vials of blood. I wondered why on earth a dentist would have one and researched it. Turns out that if you put a person's plasma in the cavity where a tooth has been removed it aids in an implant successfully healing into the jawbone. It's an expensive little toy that I really should off-load.
