OK,

I'm throwing this out there - hope it's ok mods!

I want to help reinvigorate the KKC's. So, I'm offering up a prize to stimulate some friendly competition.

Here's the condition... We need at least 12 solid entrants.

So, the winner of the next KCC with 12 or more entries gets this sweet prize package of slabettes - on me!

Here's what's up for grabs (clockwise from top left)

1.) Maury Mountain Moss agate
2.) Flint Ridge, OH
3.) Original Owyhee (sweet)
4.) Stone Canyon
5.) Feather Ridge Plume
6.) Yellow Cat Flats, UT
7.) Linda Marie Plume
8.) Eagle Rock Mossy Plume
9.) Williamsite - PA (find that at Tucson!)
10.) Montana Dendritic
11.) Cathedral agate
12.) "Noble" serpentine, PA

The Williamsite and serpentine are self-collected.

Good luck! Don't let it get away!

WOW! This is so generous of you. What a super haul for someone. Maybe you should post this in this month's contest so everyone sees it. Is this for February?

Hi all,

My pleasure to offer up a little prize to make it interesting. When I told my wife I was giving away some rocks, she was very supportive (I think she was picturing a stack of large flat rates  bricks).

This will go to the winner of the next KCC with 12 or more entrants. The point is to entice some more participation. We've had good turnout in the past - we can do it again!

Thanks to all,

-Jeremy

What a cool thing to do ura

It has helped me to get out of the rut I am in trying to get the final finish on some Charoite. I am waiting for some new disks for my flat lap. I am having a hard time getting the finish that I want.

So when I got home and read this I looked in my when I have time box and started grinding ura Then I made cut marks for saw on a slab that Camilla wants to cut next.

Bless
Shawn

I was hoping to have an entry for February, but will have to post it in March as my several "problem children" in the works yesterday and today all have finish flaws that I want continue to refine before entering. Hopefully, there will be more entrees in March as February was slower.

I'd love to win the challenge, but I am not sure, then you'd ship all those nice stones to New Caledonia!!!
Anyway it is a very kind idea and don't worry we don't have a lot of very nice stone, here, to make some really killer cabs!!!!

We have 11 entries in this months contest! One more and the winner takes the prize!

You have an excuse to spend an hour or two at the wheels today... That's a reward in itself :)

We need one more!  yippie
