Hi folks, Rock hounding and Gems are a relatively new interest for me and I've only been at the hobby for a couple of years. I've done a couple expeditions including some to fee sites. I've cut some thunder eggs, and agates, and a buddy of mine with a Facetron is teaching me the ropes (he's got a lot of patience). I have 8 sunstone gems of dubious execution under my belt so far. I'm hoping to learn something here and I hope you folks won't mind a dumb question once in awhile!
