Well, it's been quite a while since I've had something new to post since I'm still working full time and time is of the essence...............Over the holiday season I made most of the gifts I gave out and this is something new that I've done.

I have a friend that owns a 1936 Chevy Pick-up so I decided to do a buckle for him.  However, I found out he doesn't wear a belt so I just left it flat..................

1.  This is the final pattern I used to cut out the pieces............

2.  Items for the top layer.................

3. The middle layer................

4.  The truck back layer..................

5.  The finished piece................

6.  The pick-up when he picked it up in Arizona a few years ago.............

This was a fun piece to design and put together.  It's not an accurate depiction, more of an exagerated look at the front view........................

Now that is just too cool. Wish I was talented in silver smithing. I'd do a buckle of my 30 Ford Coupe.

That really IS cool! I don't know where you get the patience to make that. I'd give up half-way through sawing! (sawing is my least favorite thing to do with metal).

That really turned out nice, Steve. I love it and I bet somebody else will too!

In your case quality is more important than quantity.  yes

After seeing this great piece I'm almost motivated to make one for my wife's 65 GTO but I don't think she is into wearing belts with big silver buckles.

You can always go smaller and turn it into a cuff.

Just a thought.
