This is one of the pieces I've been slowly working on. Shaping the bail was giving me a whole lot of trouble, until I thought of actually annealing the wire first (it was half-hard). I still had problems actually attaching it. It took probably five tries before it was solidly attached! I made the mistake of building the entire bail and then attaching, and so had to balance the rounded section of the bail while attaching. Next time I know - attach the wire...and THEN make any loop! Anyway, here ya go. I really don't like the 30g as my bezel wire - it's so soft and thin! This has two layers of 30g, one regular bezel wire, one bezel wire that has been using scrapbooking scissors (a tip from Bobby1 many months ago on another board). All total, I'm better pleased with this one, but there are still some obvious flaws.

I think it looks wonderful. I'll admit I'm not trained as to what to look for, but I see no evidence that you had any problems with the bail. It looks really well done. :) Pretty stone too, and I like the way you did the bezel.

Thqat is a beautiful cab mounted in a striking setting! The bail really compliments the setting. Bob
