So sorry to hear about this unbelievably devastating development in your life. Can only wish you the best in avoiding any more acute episodes as you make preparations for taking care of yourself in the future.
It seems impossible that our "advanced" medical technology can't offer a real remedy for so many conditions, but I guess the experts just aren't as advanced as they think they are.
Our thoughts will be with you.
