Brand new to the Lap game.  Just bought a Lortone lu6x at a yard sale and will be getting my bucket(s) of rock out.  ura

I retired last Jan and we spent 5-6 months crawling up the West Coast, collecting mostly beach agates, thunder eggs, and obsidian.  I am finishing my first tumble of agates next week and will try wire wrapping some of them.   Getting excited about all this  toofunny11

This has got to be the most addictive hobby ever! You will probably become overwhelmed with rocks and equipment, and love ever minute of it!

Welcome.

I am a born and raised Arizona gal!  My Hubby and  I have become full time RV'ers and will be leaving AZ on Jan 1-2 for the Oregon coast where we will be volunteering at various locations until about June.  We will then play tourist  yippie.  Looking foreword to learning from all of you in the ways of rock, minerals and just plain ol good dirt!
