Finished up this one today from material I collected last year in PA. Did everything but the initial grinding on my new flat lap. I like the machine, but need to find a good position to prevent "cab neck" :). The benefit is that it's way quieter and cleaner than running the LU6. Swapping laps is also easier than swapping belts on the expando.

Sweeeeeeet! Nice agate or chalcedony that holds it all together. What part of PA, like in the mountains?

Thanks Mark - no, this was in the suburbs near my old house in Lehigh County. Used to get some weird looks from soccer moms when I'd crawl out of the creek carrying rocks :)

I bet. I know that you can still collect stone in parts of New York City. Now that would get some strange looks.
