Both still need final polish.  I have to build a polisher that I can slow down the speed.  Not getting the results I want with single speed motor and just the end lap polishers.

   Variable speed???  Maybe you should look into a varistor or something you can use on any of your motors. I had a 110vac varistor that I could switch from machine to machine as needed.   Oh yeah, nice plumes....

Awesome idea.  I have a couple of them from my tesla coils.  I'll give it a try.

Update:  thanks for the idea the variac worked perfect can now polish without just burning and sticking the polish.  Thanks again!
