All very nice Grant!  That amethyst really pops - must be REALLY dark to show like that on a white background.

Good job on not hiding the rock with the wire.  Too many times the centerpiece gets covered with the wire.  What gauge wire do you use?  My wife uses 24 ga for the main wires and 22 1/2 round for the wraps.  The small wires lets her wrap smaller stones without overwhelming the stone and they are typically easier to bend.

Hi, Bob I use 21 gauge soft square wire and wrap with 21 gauge half hard 1/2 round wire. For earrings I use 22 gauge wire. I think that I mentioned to you before that your wife taught me to wrap at the flatiron Gem & Mineral show which is coming up soon. For the gemstones I use a 7 wire frame to compensate for the depth of the stone.

I forget all the people I take to.  We will be at Flatirons again on the 11th, 12th, and 13th.  If you can make it, stop by and say hi.
