Okay, I know some of you may have Steve's contact info so I am asking for a favor. The new Jasper I mine has black specks and dots that I believe are from organic material. I have included photos and have even better pieces which show the layers from organic rich welded ash at the top and jasper at the bottom layers. In the several inches in between the organic material appears to carbonize. I am trying to reach Steve due to his scientific background with fossilization origins.

Yep, I would like to get an experts verification of this jasper having organic origins.  I would be open to another experts analysis as well.

thanks,  Neal
