I spend the bulk of My time south of Olympia  and the surrounding areas due to work. And I am looking for some sites to get some good rocks, right now Im hunting agates mostly but im sure im passing up good jasper and maybe jade because I don't know what they really look like lol.

For jade go to poobas auctions on ebay to see Washington jade.. You are very unlikely to find pieces like his big blocky ones rather you will most likely find the cobble type jade which he sells also. Remember jade is almost never green when weathered so don't get excited by green rocks as they are usually low silica metamorphics or not so useful oceanic cherts ( sedimentary jasper).
