Here's a simple pendant with much more golden "glow" in person than my photo shows.

Forgot to ask about the hole.  Looks like a thick cord so di you drill it at once or did you step up in sizes?

This is a great pendant with nice colors in it, gold and red are not so often in a gray stone!
But then i would have tried a fancier cordon and setting, maybe glass bead to lighten it!

Ken,

The hole was drilled half way in from each side. 1 mm drill and 1 mm cord. I started with about 1/4" thickness of the stone and ground down after drilling the hole. Wish I could capture the true golden glow this stone has in a photo. Its really striking...The gray is shiny metallic....
