My sister's graduation is this weekend, and I hadn't originally planned on attending. However, I'm now going because of various circumstances. Anyway, I needed a more personal gift than the card and $20 gift card that was mailed early last week.
One of the reasons I rearranged my workspace was so I would be more likely to play with my torch - something my shed just didn't encourage, partially because of design, partially because of heating/cooling. Anyway, I wanted something "special" for my sister's graduation present. She has plenty of wirewraps from me, and I wasn't sure what else to do. And then I remembered this cab:

When I cut it, I cut the bezel properly to be set (something I'm trying to get in the habit of!) and knew it was for my sister sometime. Her favorite color is turquoise, her birthday is in December...it just fit. Evidently, her graduation outfit (that no one really sees!) is turquoise and brown.
The setup still needs some work, and my skills are definitely beginner level, but I figured if something was made in love, that's got to count, right?
