Hello everyone i have been traveling to Arizona the last few years and two years ago I went to a community center and got introduced to lapidary really enjoyed it ,very rewarding . Since then I have picked up a machine to polish but haven't purchased a saw yet . We usually spend a couple months in Quartzite so I just purchase some slabs there and cut out on a tile saw. We do a lot of ATV riding and have found some nice finds thanks to some local rock hounds . I have actually been reading all the post here for the last couple years and have learned a lot thanks for letting me be a part of this forum.

Welcome from the other side of the world, Western MA. Lucky you are only hooked, I'm addicted! I spend each morning reading thru old Mineralogical Record, Rock and Gem, and Lapidary Journal magazines, or rearranging my collection or digging thru boxes of slabs and cabs. Can't get away from the rocks, they are everywhere.
