Picked up some agate near Carey, day before yesterday. Could get spoiled out here.
One piece is bigger than my head. And that's huge!
Joe.

The gate was open again, yesterday. Brigitte came along. The ridge offered up a tater size blue agate. Had to dig it out.

We're headed to Challis tomorrow. Been to one spot near Challis. This time we go West of Challis. Read something somewhere about brown agate. We have no clue where to look or what we'll find. Hopefully we don't run into any more hornets nests. Living the dream has it's hazards. The first sting to the face when at Carey caused me to drop my hammer and swipe at the dirty bugger knocking my hat off. Then the run for your life signal went off. Only good thing about it was, I didn't wind up on youtube. Never did get my hammer and hat back. Not sure what kind of stinking critters they were, but my face and back and sides hurt all that day. Been in a bad mood all day today. Must be hornet venom coursing through my veins.
