Ms. Rena and I have been accepted to show at the Genoa Candy Dance Show in September. Very excited about the whole thing. The show is one of the top 10 craft shows in the country. Now I really have to get off my lazy butt and work...

Congrats! I have heard it was really hard to get into that show.

Gary,
Congratulations! It's a great show! My wife and I have been going there for the past few years and we really enjoy it. We like it because of the variety and quality of the crafts that are exhibited. (The beer isn't too bad either). We like it also because it is not very far from Tahoe, maybe a 20 minute drive. Maybe we will see you there. Isn't it the last weekend in September?

Bob, it would be such an honor to meet you! The show is September 26 & 27. I will buy you a beer!!!

Connie, thanks. Yes it is not easy to get into the show. It is a juried show and I know of a few artists who have tried to get in and have been turned down. I thought their work was good.

We are most excited. Thanks for letting me gloat...

Thank you, Mary Ann! We have been so excited and working like crazy to prepare. Rena has been "knocking my socks off" with her creative streak. The wire wrapped jewelry just keeps flowing out of her.

Thanks, George! But, I have to be honest here. It is Rena's jewelry that got us in the show, not my cabs and silversmithing.
