Just for the record, the shafts can be bent and also straightened. DP has a machine for straightening and actually use it on all new motors before assembling. I sold a used Genie to a customer and it had a bent shaft. They could not straighten his but were nice enough to pull a shaft out of an old motor to get him going again. The bearings and thrust washers are available from DP as well.
