It's 310 mile from Albuquerque to Buena Vista.
There are few hotels anywhere in the area and at this point, they are probably all booked as they also hold Gold Rush days the same weekend. The actual show is just outside town at the Rodeo grounds and there is plenty of space for camping and trailers and I do know some people do just that. This is an outdoor show
