I have been cutting more of the Arizona Tigers eye. This rough makes some nice picture cabs. This looks like a mountain range with a wild fire coming over the ridge. Thought you guys would enjoy this one. Eric (Ajo)

Interesting and rare material!  Very nice cab.  The "picture" reminds me more of glowing molten lava pouring over the lip of a caldera.  But fire works too!  Great photography, thanks for posting.

The material has a painterly quality.   Like brush strokes.

That is beautiful. I've lived my whole life in AZ and have never seen anything like that here.  Without giving away your secret spot, whereabouts did you find that material?

I did not dig this material. The son of the original owner sold it to me. It was sitting in his fathers back yard for a very long time. The father has long passed away. From all the research I've been doing, it is most likely found near Globe, Arizona. It possibly could be from the San Carlos Indian Reservation. It could also be from around the old town of Chrysotile,(this is a guess). I am doing more research on this material and trying to find accurate info on it. Eric(Ajo)
