It is a multicolored Jasper but the pattern doesn't have any distinctive pattern that would indicate any specific location. It is typical of Jasper found in many streams in Central California.

If that thing doesn't have any fractures, home run. Killer rock.

Can you give us an idea where you found it? I found some really beautiful jasper in a stream on the Friend's Ranch in Oregon.  Turns out a neighbor upstream had tossed a bunch of rock years back. It had tumbled down stream for years and looked really pretty.  We had a pretty good laugh, later.  No idea what your stone is.

Thx Jason,
The fractures are always there when the rock hadn't been polished yet, but for now i think i'm gonna leave it just the way it is :)

Nice story 55fossil,
I found that rock in a mountain near the sea, in village on Sumatra Island, Indonesia. That mountain was full of jasper, but i only found one of that kind, i will be visiting gain when i had much time. If i may i'd like to see your rock that you found, interesting story :)
