Hi All

I make my disks and was asked how.

I will try help

A piece of wood. I used a drill and jig saw to make this 6" disk. If you have a friend with a wood lath They can get them better balanced.

The hard part for me is to select the rubber. If you get into making your own disks you will understand. This disk I am making is for a new disk for a .5mc disk. I am not sure if it will work the way I want. slow rpm and very "soft" for final sanding and polish for my next project.

Rubber cut and glued

6x6 .5 mu film that I got cheep at a fiber optics place.

Ready for testing.

Bless
Shawn
