You can try Craigslist or looks for estate sales.

Try Graves in Pompano Beach Florida. A mark IV machine is about $1495. I have had one for 4 years and it works perfect

I second craigslist and estate sales.. you might have to do some "updating" but it'll be a lot cheaper then brand new. Plus you get to learn your machine in the process. If your handy enough, you can salvage the parts to build one, you'll still need to buy the discs and the faceting arm though.
Someone beat me to it last year, but there was an old flap lap at one of the estate sales I was at, guy paid 100$ for it. What he didn't notice was the blue binder on the next table that contained over 300+ gem profiles and 3000/8000/14000 6" discs, that I managed to discover and paid 2$. Figured the binder was worth more then the machine, seeing how I've managed to put together the supplies(aside from the faceting arm, bearings and master disc) to build an 8" flat for less then 25$. Just haven't had time to build it yet..
