After spending much time silver smithing, my ideas of a good cab have changed quite a bit, to include shape and the difficulty of mounting a stone.

Really tough competition again this month.

I am with Dave on shape but take the lazy way out.
Most of my cabs these days are grooved ready to accept 1 mm silver wire.
The other simple ways out are either a full wire wrap which is a bit much for me or a pinch bail.
Some of the bails can look classy but require around a 1.2 mm hole to accept the 1 mm pins.

Don't know how to help you in that situation.  I never use my phone for doing forum stuff.
I have a Galaxy S3.
Typically to vote you select the one you want and hit the vote/submit button.  Don't know how it looks on your phone.
