Well I always kept hitting silver medal or Grand Prize Silver in the FMG competitions. I went on today to see if there were contest updates, and I made Gold Medal finally in the Metals Competition!!!!  It's not Grand Prize Gold, but it's still gold and it means I'm improving as an artist. That is why I do these competitions, so I can improve myself as an artist. This was only the second piece I had ever made with Metal Clay. Thank you everyone! I was in shock to see I took Gold Medal. I'm still trying to get it to sink in.
I think what shocks me more is there is a published artist with books to her name that made it to the finals and she didn't place! She's listed down in the "finalists" section.
