I'm not even sure what kind of pictures you are looking for? Rough or cut?
I have so far only ever cut one sapphire, which ended up above 2 cts.
I still have some nice rough, but not the dops to handle it.

The parti-colored sapphires from OZ are really pretty.
Hi, Willie! Glad to see you!
Love your sapphire! Is it one of your faceting designs?

He was in violation of the 50 posts before you sell anything rule and was reported by another member who found it. That is why his post was edited.
Kingsolomon: You can post as many photos of sapphires etc as you want. You just cannot offer anything for sale until you hit 50 posts. It's a rule we put in place to protect both buyers and sellers on this forum after we had people coming on here and selling stolen merchandise to unsuspecting forum members. It's a rule everyone follows.

it's a good rule and I wonder if you could optimize the script so that anyone with less than 50 posts would automatically be restricted from using certain words and figures?

Ah.....I agree, it is a good rule.
Hang in there Kingsolomon - 50 posts add up quicker than you'd imagine, if you check out this forum. There are all sorts of interesting things happening here.

The only thing I know of is no one with less than 50 posts can see the Shop and Swap section of the forum. I don't think there is a way to restrict word usage, nor would I want to restrict word usage - I think that would infringe to much on the purpose of this forum which is to exchange information with others and learn about lapidary.

All good
Not sure if I even offered any for sale. Cant see original post so may have, I know I asked what prices people are paying for good rough and asked what size color and clarity they are getting, probably suggested I could get it . I guess this could have been taken a sale, whatever . I showed my teach some I got and asked , because he said was hard to make anything on sapphire due to cost of rough and time cutting . He was dubious that I could get quality. When I showed him what I had , asked if could make money cutting them , without a moment of breath" hell yes!!!"
I've kept a lot for myself and have enough interest in the rest , was hoping to offer some nice pieces depending if it was worth it to send , depending on what price/ quality you get there .
What I have is gone .. So don't worry rough dealers , have a client that wants it all ( next batch) funny thing is , he saw this post!..too funny!
I'll post a pick of some soon as I can remember how too..:)that's 16 carat between three a- grade blocky stone , no inclusions...

Looks kind of aqua .. As could have been cut not on true table( blue ) as opposed to green cross table . Looks nice but you'll have to facet out the chips. Did you dig it yourself ?
