Here are the finished pendant of some intarsia cabs I presented in another topic, at their primary stage.
The wrap is still not so neat at the bails, but I received my new Optivisor  ura today. I am sure it will help a lot!
The green ones are made with silver wire, but the one I bought are very fine . I bought 21G and 24G but found them thiner than artistic wire I had  before. May be it is that provider, i bought coper wire form him too, but this time it so hard it is really difficult to bent!
Not always easy to choose, without seeing the product!

I remember those stones; The wire does seem a little meager but maybe you could double up on ittwisted to give it a bit more bulk. Sometimes buying online can be an adventure LOL

I did twist for the first one, as the wire used was really thin 24g silver wire, and too soft to, so not easy to manage!
As for buying on line, I have no option! Don't find anything here! Can"t buy either form well know US web site, the freight is too dear!

You can always do a double wire twist, rope like fashion, it will look better. To make the copper wire softer you can always anneal it, heat to dull real and quench in water. then place in plain white vinegar to clean.

Wow you really getting fantastic with your stonework.
I especially like the first piece.  Somehow it looks like the middleband
Undercut just a little. Giving the whole piece a new dimension/curvature.
Might be just the angle and lights playing a trick on the eyes, but looks
Great to me. :)

I confirm it is an eye trick.
the middleband is just at the same size. After gluing and shaping I treat it just like a normal cab. If I do well enough even with the finger pad you can't feel the cuts!
Thanks everyone, I do enjoy the craft a lot!
