A huge "PAT ON THE BACK, ERNIE" for a well though out and a super follow through to completion on your new slab saw.
I like the beefy design and construction you came up with. It should give you many years of productive service.

Great job on the saw Ernie; same sentiments as 39D  It's good to see a well thought out design and good construction techniques produce such good results. Oh! the rhodonite looks good too LOL

What would you estimate the cost at?
Why did you choose 18"?

Thank you Frantic . I'm guessing around $500.00 without the blade . I went with 18" simply because of economics the prices for blades really start climbing after 18." In what I have priced anyways .
