I have contacted Foredom twice, asking about there 230 volt model, no reply, they do make a  quality product but I don,t like being ignored, I have found a dealer here but will be around $380 with freight, I may be better setting a up a variable speed point carver, build myself.

Why not contact Daniel Lopacki Company as I have always had good service   from them and they are a dealer. Lopacki has a 230 volt bench lathe kit listed for $ 203.00 U.S.
