I have a refractometer w/a scratched ( measuring glass ,or hemi filter ,  prism )
I've seen a few different names for this piece of polished glass that the gem sits on.
My ? Is is it worth getting it re- finished or polished out

On a slightly different subject would anybody know where to find geodes that have not been split

#7 could be chrysoprase
3&4 could also b chrysoprase
maybe jade
my money is on chrysoprase for the 3 green rocks

That valve system you mentioned i installed a couple months ago
anyway Im from Boston
Have you rock hunted in the southern New England area or north for that matter
im new to actually getting out and hunting.
Ive been collecting for a short while
can you suggest anywhere in this region for rock hunting
or anybody reading this

just joined
My name is Tony from Boston

started collecting gems and mineral specimens
that morphed into hopefully making some jewelry
