Red wilder is absolutely correct. Nice piece too. The bottom crimbley green is a dead giveaway. Warning the pink is often sun sensitive. Lots of it laying around at the bottom of the ridge that has bleached white. Hard rock digging too!
Hey Neal I got some Juniper Ridge fire Opal from a friend in Idaho last year and cabbed it while in Quartzsite. It was a fantastic color but I lost the fire. The cabs are incredible shiny and a wonderful color. A fellow at the club told me it doesn't have true opal fire but instead a rainbow where there is a internal fracture. I don't care they made AWESOME cabs!
