The jades bring out the competitive juices between my wife daughter and myself. Meta basalts are very difficult to pick as it is incredibly hard for inexperienced people to get ones with adequate silica levels and as there are thousands around I get tired of politely saying no, not good enough, as it is the truth but seems impolite after a few dozen times on a trip.
A few years back i'm in similar situation, trying to explain there is no rocks named "Chrystopaz", it's reffers to Chrysophrase. Folks showed me again and again cabs they called "chrystopaz" and i told them it is dyed agate....no rocks named "chrystopaz" but there is Chrysophrase one of green chalcedony. Tired to explain again and again, looks like i'm out of my patience and some times my voice goes high.... chuckle

Pure good translucency of chrysophrase from Pancawarna rocks is very high valued in Indonesia, collectors going to look more of these rocks. These condition used by oportunist other folks to cheat with dyed agate wich they created name "chrystopaz". They said it is natural "chrystopaz" from Bungbulang, Garut...where some of Pancawarna comes from. I got a lot of nice gaze dislike because i said no, no, no, rubish, fake...etc chuckle

Wow....that is fantastic, what makes Fairnburn is extremely high valued? It is not ordinary cabbing material isn't it? i don't see much of Fairburn cabs...
