Hi All, Just a quick invite for any of you not too far away, or willing to drive ... the Antelope Valley Gem and Mineral Club will be hosting their annual Spring Show on April 28th and 29th, from 9:am to 5:pm, at Lancaster High School, in Lancaster (about 65 miles north of Los Angeles).  Ed and I will be there helping.  Would love to meet you there!  :)

I could never understand why the Indian Wells club insists on having their show the same weekend. I have always wanted to make the Lancaster show but I can never pull myself away from getting to collect some Rainbow Ledge Jasper at a sanctioned dig.

Ah, I can understand when it comes to Rainbow Ledge!  Gorgeous rough.  Well if you get tired of digging, come on over!  LOL!  And Dave, what's a little driving from Arkansas???  Too far?  :)

Hi all,

Just an update and reminder on this ... if any of you are in the area this weekend (Lancaster, California - about 65 miles north of Los Angeles), the Antelope Valley Gem and Mineral Club's show is tomorrow and Sunday.   Lots of awesome rocks to be viewed, touched and bought!  I'll be volunteering at the Silent Auction booth.  Would love to meet any of you personally.

Oh - and, we have a raffle as well, with lots of prizes to be given out Sunday afternoon, with first prize being a beautiful Amethyst vug, and another semi-first of $100.   yes  yes  yes
