This thunder egg inspired me because of the clear agate between two layers of opaque white.  I thought this gave the stone a lot of depth.  I chose a plain shape and high dome.  The stone size is 30 x 38 mm.

The wonderful cabs entered this month motivated me get some cutting done.

That is really neat! You are right about the clear area giving the cab depth. Cabbing it with a high dome enhances the depth. It looks like an arctic water scene. Great job! ura Eric.

Alan, your cab is definitely artistic with those strong parallel lines contrasting with the orbs at the edges, and the strong color variation.  Your stone captivated me so much I found myself coming back to it quite a few times, and every time I looked I saw something new.
